The Personnel Committee is designed to be a liaison between administration and the residences as well as to allow for communication between the homes. It is a forum for discussion about issues, concerns, or just suggestions about ways the DPD can improve or assist their employees.
One representative of each program comes to the committee meeting bringing information from their individual home. Everyone shares the needs or concerns of their program and discussion follows with administration representatives who then work to implement the changes that need to be made.
The recent "Bowling League" was a result of these meetings where the need for more opportunities to enjoy each other's company was noted. The result was 6 weeks of competition bringing together staff and residents alike for what was unanimously descried as a "great time."
So gather your ideas, collect your thoughts and present them to your house committee member for the next meeting!
