Clara has long provided a safe haven for the residents of the Alexander House. Over the course of the last few years there have been several serious health issues, death of beloved residents and challenges that cannot be numbered. Though it all Clara has provided a “home.”
Tascha is truly a model of one who listens and empathizes with the needs of others. This is demonstrated in the way she extends much patience and generous love for the people that she serves and work with.
Diedre makes a big difference in the agency and in the lives of our residents as she serves with a glad and generous heart. We are happy to honor her as Employee of the Month!
Rita Chapparo is the recipient of the Employee of the Month award. She is described as being a “wonderful and caring employee who goes above and beyond for all the residents, making sure they always have everything thing they need while keeping their best interest at heart.”
Since starting at DPD in June 2015, David has learned a great deal regarding the ever changing adult system of care in NJ through DDD. He handles situations that arise calmly and professionally and has endless amounts of patience with the families and individuals he comes in contact with. David is always upbeat, thinks positively and always hopes for the best. He’s reliable and has really flourished in the Support Coordinator position.
Peres is a wonderful addition to the growing Giuliano House family with a special place in the hearts of the residents. She is always willing to go above and beyond is. Her exemplary patience warm smile inspires confidence in the residents and helps them to grow.
At a recent Program Directors Meeting Jim's successful completion of the "College of Frontline Supervision and Management Training" was acknowledged. It is because of people like Jim, who is committed to providing excellence that the DPD is able to provide the outstanding level of care that it does. Our congratulations and admiration goes out to him.
Congratulations Joseph Mundhe Employee of the Month – November 2015. We are delighted to have Joseph as part of the DPD family and are inspired by him and his dedication to the most vulnerable among us.
The New Jersey Association of Community Providers (NJACP) selected Lynne Rockstroh as the recipient of the distinguished 2015 Leadership Award. At a recent dinner of statewide providers of services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Lynne was recognized for her years of service to the DPD and to the most vulnerable among us.
October 30, 2015 was a beautiful autumn day in Jefferson Township and a perfect day for the New Hire Orientation designed to give new employees an understanding of the DPD.
The DPD is proud and happy to introduce Kelly O'Caiside as the first Director of it's newest group home; the Giuliano House located in Oak Ridge. This home, while still under construction, is scheduled to welcome it's four residents in November. We are blessed to have Kelly ready and willing to take on this new challenge. Kelly came to the DPD in 1996.
