O Holy Lord, thank You that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. We thank You that we were made in Your image to do good things. You knew us before time began and molded us in our mother’s womb to be exactly what You desired. Guide us and teach us Holy Spirit to walk in the ways of the Lord so that we can shine as God’s masterpiece. For Your glory and honor, in Jesus name. AMEN ✝

Saint Paulinus of Nola- 354 A.D – 431.A.D. Paulinus of Nola, Spain, lived in the fourth century. Paulinus was a wealthy lawyer, governor, and poet. He was married to a rich Spanish noblewoman named Therasia. In 389, both of them were baptized. Later, they had a son, Celsus, who died after only eight days. This occasioned their beginning a life of great austerity and charity, giving away most of their Spanish property.
He and his wife then moved to Nola, near Naples. He had a great love for St. Felix of Nola, and spent much effort in promoting devotion to this saint. Paulinus gave away most of his remaining property (to the dismay of his relatives) and continued his work for the poor. Supporting a host of debtors, the homeless and other needy people, he lived a monastic life in another part of his home.

irth of John the Baptist The coming of John the Baptist was prophesied by Isaiah 700 years before his birth. Isaiah wrote:
The voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the Lord; make his paths straight.
The Angel Gabriel appeared to John's father, Zechariah (also called Zacharias) in the temple. Now Zechariah and his wife Elizabeth were very old, and had no children. Gabriel told Zechariah that they would have a son named John, and that he would be filled with the Holy Spirit while in his mother's womb. Zechariah questioned Gabriel, saying "How shall I know this?" As a sign, Gabriel told Zechariah that he would be unable to speak until his son was born. When Zechariah left the temple, he was mute, and all who knew him realized he had seen a vision. When John was born, his relatives wanted to call him Zechariah, after his father. They came to his father, who wrote as follows, "His name is John." Immediately Zechariah was able to speak. He blessed the Lord, and prophesied concerning John, saying: You will be called the prophet of the Most High.
