Congratulations to  Diedre Howard the Employee of the Month for March 2017.  Diedre came to the Alexander House around the same time as their new resident Phyllis. This seems to be more than a coincidence in that they immediately connected and Deidre became Phyllis’ ‘go to person’ during the challenging time of transitioning into a new home, new routine and lots of new people.  They have developed a strong bond which even allowed for Phyllis to feel comfortable and safe enough to enjoy herself at the Murray House Dinner Dance.

Deidre is also very reliable and always on time. She has been so helpful at Alexander House picking up many extra shifts and staying late or coming in early. We at DPD are very fortunate to have her as part of the DPD family and are very grateful for all she does as Residential Counselor at the Alexander House.  As Saint Ignatius of Loyola said: “Love is shown more in deeds than in words.”  Diedre makes a big difference in the agency and in the lives of our residents as she serves with a glad and generous heart.  We are happy to honor her as Employee of the Month!
