Maybeth is caring, loving, positive, creative and fun. She always includes the clients in all the projects she develops. She has a very artistic hand and eye, and helped to develop the paintings for the Christmas Cards and the Golf outing. She loves glitter and always makes the place sparkle! Besides being a talent artist Maybeth has a degree in Art & Graphic Design and marketing.
Three years ago Maybeth saw a ‘help wanted’ flyer in church advertising a part time opening at the Gruenert Center. At the time she did not know anything about the DPD but she felt drawn to explore this more. Maybeth felt the hand of God at work in her life and decided to take that leap of faith and follow where she felt God was leading her. As a single mom of twins, a boy and a girl, and an evening student studying to become a home health aide she took on this part time job. It was a financial challenge but she persisted with her goal in mind.
Much to her surprise, as time passed she realized that the Gruenert Center was where her heart was. She had been commuting from Passaic to the Center each day and decided that indeed; the Gruenert Center was where she belonged. With that she relocated closer and has never been less than content with her work and loves being part of the DPD family.
As a busy mom Maybeth does not have a lot of free time for hobbies but feels blessed that the one thing she really loves to do is art and she gets to enjoy it every day as part of her job. She truly feels that her walking in faith has led her to many blessings. A favorite quote comes from the book of Ecclesiastes:
“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
The DPD congratulates Maybeth on being selected as Employee of the Month and is most grateful for your kind and generous dedication.
