All the residents of the DPD group homes gathered on Friday, June 22 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Oak Ridge for a celebratory gala in recognition of the founding of the agency 50 years ago. Father Jack Wehrlen had a vision that all people, including those with developmental and intellectual abilities were entitled to a life with dignity and peace and made it his mission to bring this to fruition.
Residents and staff enjoyed an evening of festivities and fun as the DPD family gave
thanks for the many blessings in our lives. Special thanks fo to Fr. Matt Twiggs, pastor, for always opening the doors to the DPD!
