In the DPD we are fortunate to have volunteers who visit our group homes with their therapy dogs also known as "Comfort Dogs" since this is exactly what they bring to the places they visit.

All volunteers and their dogs must be certified before becoming a member of our "People Need Friends" volunteer program.  The certification process is done through an organization called "Bright and Beautiful."  Please visit their website for more information.http://www.golden-dogs.org/
